Mintage of the US Eagles began in 2021 with a classic design on the reverse of the coin: a bald eagle carrying a branch on its talon, as it joins its mate and eaglet on their nest. The design, created by Miley Busiek Frost, is to be used until mid-year of 2021, when a new design is scheduled for release.
